Asima (7mths) is used to sleeping in the lounge room surrounded by her large family of eight. Asima's mother, Fadwa, explains that she does not want her daughter to become demanding and selfish like many Australian children. Her other five children share two bedrooms. Fadwa asks if a cot can be put in the playroom for Asima. She doesn't want her daughter to sleep in the cot room because she feels she will become spoilt.
i. Identify the likely differences beliefs / practices that may create tension
ii Describe what action (if any) the educator could/should take.
What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I am not sure on how to answer the 1st one
the second part i put that the educator should respect the parents values and beliefs
i am not sure if i am on the right track or not if anyone could please help
