hi i'm just not sure if i'm on the right track.
Q.Outline the steps you would take in response to the situation - list three things you would do and three you would say to Soraya and three things you would do and / or say to Jamila at the time of this situation.
The parent has just admitted to be a victim of domestic abuse which her daughter witnessed.
A.I would acknowledge how hard it must be for Soraya and ask if she needed medical help.
I would tell her that she is not alone and give her information about services which can help her.
I would encourage Soraya to seek help and that I would support her with reporting the abuse.
I Would ask Jamila is she is o.k and I would ask her if I could give her a hug.
I would tell Jamila that nothing that happened is her fault and she is safe here.
I would ask Jamila if she wanted to come to a quiet zone and sit with her mother then I would the refer to the M.R.G to determine the course of action.
