1. Legistation that applies in ACT and NSW
Answer- ACT: Children and Young People Act 2008 (ACT)
NSw: Children and young persons ( Care and protection) Act 1998 (NSW)
2. appropriate regulations?
ACT: Section 356 of the Children and Young People Act 2008 (ACT)
NSW: Section 23 and 27 of the Children and young persons ( Care and protection) Act 1998 (NSW)
3.Appropriate policies
# Child Protection and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect Policy
# Family Law Policy
# Working with Children and Young People - Volunteers and Visitors (Interim) Policy
4. List appropriate respond to direct disclosure of abuse and neglect ensuring to maintain the dignity and respect of the children and young person?
Answer:
# protect information about disclosure and child details
#Don't share any information about disclosure with third parties
# Respct their privacy all the time
# Give full attention
# Maintain clam apearance
# Reasure the child or young person it is right to tell
#Let the child take their time and and use their own words
#Don't confront the perpetrator
# use good commiunication skills such as gental talkig , get childran level
5. When Child abuse and neglect reporting , linking to organisational policies and procedure?
I am realy stuck in this question....
6. Identify strategies to maintain confidentiality?
# Child information and files are locked and secured
#not sharing any information with third parties
#Respect children's peivacy and confidentiality
7. write one experience to offer to children that can support the protective behaviour theme?
The experience need to support understanding protective behavior and children feeling safe and supported?
