Just having trouble with this question.
Describe 3 different children focused and interesting activities that you could provide to each of the aged groups listed to promote healthy eating.
2 - 3 year olds
3 - 5 year olds
-Make a healthy smoothie with the children, including them in a discussion about what to put in it and why it's important to have something for breakfast. Try different fruits, which are easy to cut, like raspberries, canned peaches or grapes. Give the children different fruits to name, smell and taste.
-Making 'Face Open Sandwiches'. Involves children experimenting with healthy foods to make faces on sandwiches. This is a fun way to introduce a range of healthy sandwich ingredients to children.
-
5 - 8 year olds
Thank you!!
