During your vocational placement practice you met other ECE candidates who are also completing their vocational requirements in the centre: Antonina, Viktoriya, and Vera. Antonina, Viktoriya and Vera are best friends from from a small town in Russia. They moved to Australia together a few years ago to pursue a career in childcare.
You’ve spent a couple of years in Russia when you were young, and could understand Russian quite well. Although you get along well with the three of them, you noticed that they sometimes speak in Russian to talk inappropriately about other staff and clients in the centre.

1. Ethical principle of mutual respect equity and fairness, Racism, degrading people, bulling, potentially singling people out.
2. whether or not to get involved or to risk being apart of the problem.
3. Code of conduct should be based on the services philosophy, beliefs and values and on ethical principles of mutual respect equity and fairness.
4. Code of ethics 5.3 Responsibilities to colleagues H) Any criticism of colleagues practice or behaviour must be defensible and should be dealt with in a professional manner.
