CHCLEG001 - Seeking Concent Of Parents

I am new to this but this site was very help full
List three (3) reasons why is it important to seek the consent of parents regarding the services and the activities their child is
involved in? (what is the legal and ethical reason behind why you are seeking parents consent)

my answer is incorrect: please help me :sweating: (incorrect answer : but these are for reasons when require for consents
• When making importance of the decision such as medical emergency or administration of medical attention to the child
• Ensure when sharing personal and sensitive information’s are exchange with external services or agencies.
• When required child is referred or get supported to make contact with external services or agencies.

Maybe something like:

1) Parents may refuse participation in some activities due to cultural or personal beliefs
2) Parents should give permission in what their child could do and cant do (such as consent for photos to be taken)
3) Parents have the understanding to know how some activities effect their child and whether or not their child can participate (such as water play)
