Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCIC302A - support Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islandre families to participare in childrens services
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
I have had a read through the other Aboriginal & Torres Straight Islandre questions but my question does not relate in any way..

I have had to research my local Custodians for my area which i have found, list the identifiable language groups. which i have also found.

My Question is: Identify & list the protocols for contacting them?

My local Custodian is: Aunty Josie Agius Kaurna Elder of the greater Adelaide Plains Area

Thanks in advance

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
i have found that eye contact is not appropriate as well as when meeting a Custodian it is protocol to shake their hand.
But what other Aboriginal proticols are there??

I found this information:

http://www.adelaide.edu.au/kwp/projects/welcome/

I'm not sure what it means by protocols when contacting them. I searched "Aunty Josie Agius" in google and got this:

http://www.kurruru.org.au/contact-us/st ... agius.html

OR is it referring to how you need to act in regards to body language, avoiding eye contact etc...

Not too sure if this is what you are after...
