Hi guys,
I'm not qite understanding what I need to do here. Any help will be very appreciated.

Scenario 1
BJ 3 years in the toddler room in long day care often screams and strikes at other children if they take equipment way from him

Imagine that you are a staff member faced with this scenario. Describe how you would deal with it. Ensure that you cover the following in your answer:

Promoting positive outcomes and realistic expectations of children's behaviour
How communication is used to suggest positive choices
Limitations and safety are discussed in relation to the child's behaviour
Ways that children could be encouraged to express their ideas
Opportunities for the children to problem-solve
Any relevant sections of acts or regulations for your state and any quality assurance requirements

I don't really have alkot of knowledge yet about all of the above and was wondering if anyone could explain some of the above to me so that I can attempt this assignment. Not really sure how to start it off. Any suggestiond will be very appreciated.

Thanks Kristy :)

perhaps these articles should help. You can find them in this site:

1) Dealing with Tantrums
2) Anger Management in Children
3) Behaviour Management in Childcare
4) Developing Positive Relationships & Strategies To Encourage Children

The above links should give you an idea on how you can answer this. if you are still stuck, write down how you would handle that scenario and I will have a look.
