4. Read each scenario and write related questions.
a. The Carrots
Zane, Ali and Nick (4 yrs) are helping the educator, Tom, to pull the carrots the children have grown in the vegetable garden.
Zane: ‘How come the carrots grow upside down Tom?’
Suggest one open–ended or probing question Tom could put to the boys in response to this question.
I have thinking to have a question for Tom to ask.. but yet I am not able to find it...
I have tried some questions like 'where does the root of a plant grow?' Am not sure about this question.. Please redirect me to the right track..
Thanks,
Sukanya.
