CHCECE012 - Providing Children With Information On Sustainable Practices

i have been looking for an answer to this question for weeks below is my attempt.please need help on this.
Explain how you could provide children with information about sustainable practices?
Sustainable practice is very important for our environment because only sustainable practice could give us a sustainable future.the child care has a very big role to play to build that foundation amongst children to respect the very environment they live in.however, it is difficult to change things overnight because children will not learn from just looking at pictures, videos or other maerial rather it should be embedded into the operations of the education and care service and involve educators, children and families in order to be successful. Children’s awareness of the environment should be promoted through daily practices, resources and interactions rather than as a ‘token’ incorporation.it need a holistic approach.
The main areas that sustainable practices can be embedded are through:
• Recycling
• Gardening
• Energy conservation
• Water conservation
• Sustainable equipment purchase
