Hi there,
I am currently working on activity 4 (Consider the following scenario. How would your reaction differ if it was an infant, a toddler, a preschooler or a school-aged child? Amanda is showing signs of frustration and is beginning to become upset. She has already lashed out at another child and has thrown the resources she was engaging with away. How will you acknowledge the child’s feelings and support her to see mistakes as opportunities to learn and also to feel better about herself? Record your responses.) i am having difficulty answering the infant section and school-aged as i feel an infant doesn't have the capability to "lash out" however does become frustrated when play is interrupted, learning to crawl etc would it be appropriate if i spoke about how to manage that frustration? and as for the school aged child i feel there would be a deep problem to the child 'lashing out'. Nay help or suggestions on houw to answer this question would be great or some links to read that will help.
Thanks
