Case study
It is 12 noon in the 2-3 year old room and there are 10 children interacting with two educators. All children are all engaged in various activities around the room. The senior educator is supervising four children at the painting table while the junior educator is assisting a child in the bathroom who is toilet training and could not get his overalls undone in time and wet his pants. Two of the children are fighting over a toy and they are both crying loudly. One child walks up to the educator in the bathroom and say āIām hungry Miss Melissa, when is it lunch time?ā The services cook comes to the door of the classroom and advises that their lunch has been sitting on the kitchen bench for30 minutes and is therefore not meeting the services food and hygiene policy.
