Q1. The children have spontaneously developed a game of 'Duck duck goose' in the outdoor area. holly is 3 years old and enthusiastically entered the circle and is enjoying the game saying " duuuuck duuuuck duuuuuck" with the group of children as the "in" child taps each of the children on the head. However when Jack is "In" he taps Holly on the head and yells GOOSE! and runs away, preparing for Holly to chase him. Holly instead, puts her head down and appears to no longer want to participate.
Q2. The educator has put some of the children's favourite music on in the outdoor environment for them to listen to as they play. Some of the children have moved over to the area where the CD player is and are dancing to the music. One of the youngest child is sitting with the educator as she is new at the centre and still struggling with some separation anxiety, but is improving each week, and now showing some interest in joining in the group activity but only with the support of the educator. She starts to sing the popular song along with the children whilst sitting on the lap of the educator.
What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
Ans1. I will explain her that chasing is rule of the game. Now you chase Jack in the next turn he or other child will chase you. I know you are good runner so please run and chase Jack.
Ans2. I will hold her hand and go to dancing place. I will begin dance with her. Once she feel comfortable I will stand near by her and observe her and other children.
