Toys and equipment need to be checked on a daily basis to ensure they are safe. List five safe practices you could implement on a daily basis. Not sure if this is correct.
1. No loose pieces on any toys the children are going to be playing with
2. If any of the toys are broken and cannot be fixed at all has to be reported to manager
3. empty power point sockets must have protective caps placed in them
4. no missing screws from any of the equipment or toys.
5. all toys and equipment must be stored neatly and not present a falling hazard

You could also consider:
- no small parts that can be easily pulled off/detached
- disinfect toys regularly especially those that a child has put in their mouth

The age and development of the child need to be considered when choosing toys and equipment. What can be hazardous to infants and small children?
for the infants would you put the ages between 0-2 years and small children 2-6 years or 2-4 years.

Yes I think that regarding the age groups, juliaf95, wanted to confirm the ages in order to determine what can be hazadous to them...

under 6 months : Toys with sharp edges and internal wires, removable parts and thin brittle plastic.
6-12 months: teething rings containing liquid, polystyrene pellets used as fillers in toys, beanbags or in Christmas decorations as these can be inhaled and block breathing. Mobiles hung above a cot should be well out of reach, as should rubber balloons
1-2 years: unstable sit on toys, marbles, coins, beads and strings attached to toys
2-3 years: Household items such as sewing machines, irons, garage tools, items with hinges and folding mechanisms that can catch little fingers and self-retracting pull strings
3-4 years: Water toys. Always stay in direct eye contact with children when they are near water
4-5 years: noisy toys, bows and arrows ,guns and projectile toys
5-6 years: kites used near power lines, flammable adhesive glue in craft kits, chemistry sets and shooting toys
am I on the right track?
