CHCECE001 - Script With Preschooler In Regards To Respect and Fairness

Question: Write a script for an imaginary conversation between you and a pre-schooler who has made a comment in front of another child. The lists of criteria on pages 27 and 28 of the Early Years Learning Framework regarding evidence that children: ‘respond to diversity with respect’ and ‘become aware of fairness’ and how educators can promote this learning will assist with ideas for your response. Demonstrate in your script, how you would role model best practices and encourage the child to learn about respecting diversity and fairness.
Answer: A group of multi cultural children aged between 5 - 7 sitting in a group.
Clarissa: How come your sister brings you to school now ?( Kita lives with her grandparents they are of Torres strait Island decent)
Kita: Our Do Do is sick.
Clarissa: Do Do whats a Do Do
Me: Kita would you like to explain to Clarissa what your Do Do is?
Kita: Do Do is what I call my grandmother.
Me: What do you call your grandmother Clarissa? (Clarissa is of Asian decent)
Clarissa: I call my grandmother Nai Nai
Ziah ( the little Italian boy) : I call my grandmother Nonna
Joeseph: Hey I call mine Nonna too.
Me: How about you Harry ( Harry is Greek) what do you call your grandmother
Harry: I call my grandmother Ya Ya
Me: Well isn't that interesting, because we come from different cultures our grandmother's all have different names yet mean the same.
Am I on the right track please
