Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHC30712 Provide care for babies
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
While on work experience I have to plan and implement 3 opportunities for the babies (0-2years) that meet their needs for secure and consistent care, I have to leave the opportunities out for a minimum of two days. I now find on another sheet of paper that it is called "Opportuniies in the environmnet." I asked the people at the day care centre about what I have to do and no one could help me my lecturer is away for a bit and I need to do this next week. What do you think I need to do for this exercise? Weather isn't going to be great so I need under cover things.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
The term Opportunities in the environment has me a little baffled. I was thinking of making some milk bottle skittles and use cloth balls or small bean bags to knock over the skittles. That is using something recycled. Also filling a milk bottle with different things for the babies to use which would rattle. Do you think this is the sort of thing they are wanting - any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe it has something to do with what learning opportunities the children are engaged in within the environment that's already been set out. So, if you have paper and crayons available this provides children with eagerness to explore their creative development.... So, I'd list the different activities and what opportunities it will provide the children...

I have no idea if I'm right, I'm just guessing...

Sorry couldn't help you further,
