Need some help with this part Please
How do you ensure Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are involved in the process of evaluating culturally safe practice in your service?
Thanks

Hello Yolanda,
At my service I searched for our local Aboriginal Organisation / Elders and discussed with them what practices reflected their culture correctly and respectfully. I also researched more about our local Clan and found books from the library we could learn from. With this information we were able to embed Aboriginal culture in daily practices such as having a Yarning Circle where children sat in a circle to share stories, rather than listening to an educator read a book and all facing the front.
Hope this helps.
