hi there,
I am really find this project hard I'm new to childcare studies and was wondering if I was doing it write.

Project 1

Write a detailed report describing the legal and ethical responsibilities of community service providers and their staff.

Include, in your report, the following:
1.Explain why documented policies, procedures and protocols are necessary.
2.List the legislation and regulations and ethical conditions that apply to community service operations.
3.Describe the systems that might be put in place to ensure legal rights of clients are upheld and to make certain cultural, linguistic and religious diversity are responded to appropriately.
4.Explain the actions that should be taken if client rights are not properly upheld.

I have tried this for quest 2 but not sure if its right.
• Legislation and regulations and ethical conditions

There is different legislation, Regulations and ethical conditions we have to be aware of they are:
1. The prevention of discrimination
2. Anti-harassment
3. Privacy
4. Equal Employment opportunity
5. Freedom of information
6. Access and equity
7. Social Justice
8. Mandatory notification
9. Work and Health Safety
10. Early Childhood Education and care
11. Industrial Legislation
12. Individual rights

not sure if im going down the right track.

Yes, you're on the right track!

For Q2 you can also include:

UN Convention Of The Rights Of The Child
ECA Code Of Ethics
National Law and Regulations

I also have some more information that may help:

Framework For Human Services Worker (on the left hand side of the page there are sub heading you can choose to gather further information)
