Hi i am new in here. I am not sure if im on the right track. Im doing Cert III in children's services. Im currently doing CHCCS400B work within a relevant legal and ethical framework.
Im Doing assessment 3 working ethically question number 3.
A parent asks you how his child behaved today while the child is listening. The child has misbehaved and you need to talk to the parent about strategies to use. What do you do?
a. what part of the code/s does this relate to?
b. how would you deal with this situation?

My answer/.understanding with this is. In relation to families i will
* Develop partnerships with families and engage in shared decision making hwre appropriate.
B) i will let the child go and play with other children/play with something and ask the parents to have a discussion and stay where they have access/can be able to see the child while playing, talk how the child behave and talk some strategies or ways to deal with it.

Pls help me if im on the right track. Thanks

Had a read through your response and it's definitely on the right track... I'd do the same if I was in that situation by asking the child to go and play while you talk to the parent.
