Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCCN305B Provide Care for babies
Your Assignment Type: Case Scenario
Currently Working in Childcare? Yes
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
i am stuck on task 4 Ava(8months)
Ava has suffered a number of illnesses in her short life and as a result has been slow to reach her milestones. Ava is still not sitting without support and her reaching and grasping skills are poor. Ava is difficult to feed and often has reflux. she sleeps for long periods of time. Her educator, Vicki is worried about her slow progress and feels that Ava would be much better off attending a special education program for infants. Vicki complains that she can't give Ava the time and attention she needs and is beginning to resent having Ava in care.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
So far my answer is
If Vicki was to talk to Ava's parents about the types of illnesses she has had it may help Vicki understand Ava better and how to help her more

Description and Message:
I am really stuck and I only have a week before it is due to be in
Thank you for any help I will appreciate it
Rosemary

You have written the scenario but not sure what the question is... From your response it's about Vicki being supportive and showing understanding of Ava. If Vicki talks to Ava's parents about her illnesses this should increase her understanding and then she will know what to expect of Ava at her stage of development. She can do some research into the illnesses and plan a program specifically for Ava. Get professional help from Inclusion Support to assist Ava during the day.

Hopefully these make sense... Kind of winging it without the question!
