Hi Guys,

I have a question in my assignment that I require a bit of help with.

The question is...

Choose one of the eight points you should support and encourage in the dietary guidelines for Australians. Explain what it means and why you think it is important?

They have given me the NHMRC website to reference from but it is not written for students as i do not understand half of the sentences.

the eight points to choose from were:
- breastfeeding for infants
- providing appropriate food and physical activity
- offering a wide variety of food choices
- providing breads, cereals, fruits and vegetables as the main foods to be eaten
- offering low-fat foods
- drinking lots of water - ensure this by providing a drinking fountain, a water cooler or a table with cups and jugs
- providing minimal sugars and foods with added sugars
- offering foods low in salt

PLEASE HELP :)

THANKYOPU!

1st let me thank you for posting correctly

Tell us which point you are going to select first.
Then we can help you from there. No point us going through all the points.

I have chosen wide variety of foods point.

I also have another question but I'll get to that afterwards. So I've looked it up and I have for the gist of it. I basically wrote the definition of what is meant by wide variety and that it is important because different foods have different nutrients and things that are required for development.
