CHCCN301C - Scenario: Rebecca - Temperature & Vomiting

It is Tuesday afternoon and you notice that 15 month old Rebecca is lying down in the book corner while all the other children are playing outdoors. You approach her and immediately sense she has a temperature and you see she has vomit all over her clothes
What are your immediate actions?

My answer was
I would tell the Director and/or parents of Rebecca’s illness. I would move her to another room away from the other children, but not let her feel isolated and then give her panadol if this has been arranged with the parents and plenty of fluids for the fever. I would wash my hands after I finished treating her and keep a record .
Could you please let me know if I'm on the right track?
Thank you :)
Lilly

Your response is fine but first and foremost I'd sit Rebecca up, loosen her clothing, put on gloves, take her to bathroom change her into new clothes, give water, check her temperature then continue with what you said...
