thanks so much I found essential answers on the link you gave me.. but I made a big mistakes on the question one the outline is asking for typical behaviours on different age groups and I have mentioned that I have the answers but when I read it again I think my anwers are not correct here are my answers : for ex for the age group 0-6 months I put
Social/Emotional Development:
Primary bond (attachment)
Secondary attachments
Prefers familiar voice (responses to adults)
Soothed more easily by a familiar carer
Will go to another person
Shows individual temperament characteristics
Cognitive Development:
No significant memory
When baby is about 3-4 months old they realize that when they make noise, people respond.
Distinguishes different faces at one month.
Quiets or smiles when spoken to.
Seems to recognize your voice.
Makes eye contact at one month.
Moves eyes in direction of sounds.
Responds to changes in tone of your voice.
Baby startles to loud sounds.
Notices toys that make sounds.
Pays attention to music.
Physical Development:
Dependent on adults.
Un-coordinated movements
Lies or sits where placed
Raise their head and chest when lying on their stomach at 3mos
Coordination of their hands, grasping objects at 3mos
Roll from their stomach to their back at 6mos
Language Development:
Infants cry as it is their only way to communicate.
When they turned four weeks there is a unique cry for hunger, wetness, pain and boredom.
Starts cooing and gurgling and some babbling.
No comprehension of the meaning of the words.
but it says in the outline : identify some examples of the behaviour that you might observe from the child and how the carer can support the separation process.. am I on the right track Im really confused
