Hi Lorina,
I need to come up with 5 songs for each group as per below. My question is, I can't sing to save my life so I was hoping you could reccomment a good site that I could download songs from that would be suitable? I just want to say that you are the BEST and I hope this flattery will get me somewhere.
Just started my prac and I'm killing it but it's overwhelming at the same time (the amount of work to get through).
This workplace assessment requires you to support children to learn personal hygiene practices through the use of age and developmentally appropriate songs and rhymes.
Create a list of appropriate songs and rhymes you could use with the varying age groups at the service, e.g. babies and infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Your selections should promote healthy habits and awareness in the following areas:
• brushing teeth
• washing hands
• good hygiene
• the human body
• illness
• staying active and fit.
Record five songs and rhymes, for each age group, that could be used to promote healthy habits in the following table.

HAHAHA! Thanks for the flattery!! :giggle:

For babies and toddlers you can possible make up any song using popular tunes. So, one could be:

"In the morning when you wake, brush your teeth - brush brush" (tune to happy and you know it) or "this is the way we wash our hands, wash our hands, wash our hands this is the way we wash our hands - before we eat our food" (tune to here we go round the mulberry bush) etc.

Here are some more:

You could also check "You Tube" for songs as well...

Hope this helps,
