When doing an observation on a challenging behaviour I wouldn't do a learning analysis on it. I would write an observation as evidence needed to be gathered to create a behaviour management plan to try and deal with the behaviour at hand... If you were to fill in a learning analysis on a child's misbehaviour it would come across negative and judgemental. If needed, during the observation, if any add only the positivs that occured. Hwever, I would usually leave the learning analysis blank and use this to support the behaviour managment plan.

Behaviour Management Plan

Hope this helps,
