Your Question?
You are the Assistant in Pre-school 1 room.
When 4 yr old Yin is dropped off at the Centre by her father, her father informs you that Yin has a urinary tract infection. In home corner, you witness Yin encourage another child to lie on the dolls bed. Yin reaches to lift up the other child's skirt and tries to pull down the other child's underpants. When you walk closer to the 2 children, Yin runs off and hides behind the book case. Half an hour later when Yin goes to the toilet, you notice blood in her underwear.
a) what type of abuse is likely to be occurring?
b) in this situation how would you respond?


What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
a) sexual abuse
b) report to centre director with notes of what I have seen in room of behaviour and tell of urinary tract infection, due to sexual abuse and report to police and get child seen to by doctor's.
this is what I have for now, is it enough to hand in.
