Hi all I am new here and I really need help with my assignment that I have to resubmit. Thank you. These are my answers to each but they are wrong so I am not sure how to proceed.
7. Complete the following sentences.
A. Child Development Knowledge: Critical Social and Emotional Developments

i. A great deal of social learning occurs as a result of: interactions, relationships and everyday experiences with others.
ii. The feelings children have about themselves are influenced by: the quality of the relationship that is developed between themselves and those caring for them.


B. Child Development Knowledge: Building Trust in the World

i. Establishing a relationship of trust is essential for successful emotional development.


ii. Attachment is the term used for describing a relationship and bond that develop between an infant and their caregiver.

iii. Bonding between a baby and his or her parents is the basis for: secure attachments.

C. Child Development Knowledge: Gaining Autonomy and Independence
Gradually babies become aware that they can influence their environment – this is the beginning of a sense of autonomy.


D. Child Development Knowledge: Supporting Separation
A significant factor in developing a sense of autonomy is the ability to separate from the primary carer.


E. Child Development Knowledge: Individual Differences
Temperament is based on three key elements:
- Emotionality is the tendency to be distressed, displaying either fear or anger.
- Sociability refers to the tendency to prefer the company of others rather than be alone.
- Activity level is the tendency to be active, with high energy levels, always on the move, or display low levels of activity and a placid nature.

In order to use initiative children must feel confident.


G. Child Development Knowledge: Developing Positive Self-Esteem
Self-esteem refers to how we value ourselves.
