hi I'm studying my legal cluster for my cert 3 and I've been trying to find the answers for these questions this is what I have put so far.
4. Within your work role there will be boundaries within, which you must work and conduct yourself in an ethical manner.
a) Why is it important to ensure you work within these boundaries?
my answer: it is important to maintain a safe and appropriate relationship between staff, families and children.
b) How do you know what these boundaries are?
my answer: You would know what the boundaries are from reading your centres policy and procedures.
5. What would you do if a situation caused you to have a conflict of interest?
For example: If you were living in an apartment building and a family who attended your service also lived in that building. Over a period of time you have developed a friendship with the family.
a) How might this have the potential to cause a conflict of interest?
You might give the child more attention then others. What else ???
b) What ethical concerns may arise?
That you are paying more attention to the child. What else ???
c) What boundaries might you need to be aware of in this situation?
That you treat and look after the kids equaly. What else ???
