I have listed the above but the teacher wants me to use the policy and procedures in this situation.??? Help! I dont know where to start.

"I would thank the parent for the information to us as educators are aware that this child has tendency to bite. I would ask the father for his opinions as to how he handles this in the home environment or outside of the centre. I would assure his that we would be trying our hardest into strategies to prevent this from happening at our centre and to manage this within the classroom with other children. My duty of care of the give the child and family the best care possible so I would work together with the father on resolving this issue at hand . "

It may also be helpful to include that as educators we cannot smack someone else's child for for discipline in an education and care facility and provide examples of what you might offer within the service.
