When can I start to apply for jobs?

Hello, I have been studying now for 2 years in Bachelor of Early Childhood and I am curious at what point can I begin working as a kindergarten assistant? I have completed 2 out of 4 placements now. Or do I have to complete my whole degree in order to work in this industry beforehand? Thanks in advance, Eva

I am surprised no one has answered this before now!
You can apply to work any time through your studies, but because you are now 50% of the way through your course, you can be counted as an Early Childhood Teacher. If you have a look here:

and you meet all the requirements, you can apply now!
