Further study part 2

Hi, I posted a question earlier about either studying a Master in early childhood education or a Diploma in childhood education. However, I came across graduate certificate or diploma in early childhood education that I can use my art degree to get into. Would both graduate certificate and diploma give me the qualification to work as a ECT or a level 4 room leader?
Has anyone else done a graduate diploma or certificate in early childhood education who had a non childhood degree? What was your experience like studying and are you working as an early childhood teacher or room leader?
