CAN YOU GET THE CHILDCARE YOU NEED?

Do you live in Brisbane or Toowoomba and have a child aged 0-16 years old?
Do you currently use childcare or wish that you could?
If your answer is YES, you may be interested in participating in a UQ study examining Australian parents’ and children’s experiences accessing childcare.
You will receive a $20 Coles gift voucher to thank you for your participation
What will participation involve?
Over a 15 month period the parents will take part in two 45-60 minute interviews about your experiences and expectations regarding childcare. Next year you may also be asked to keep a childcare diary for a short period of time.
You will also be asked if you will agree to your child participating if they are aged 4-15. Participants aged 4-7 will be asked to draw about their care in a diary. Participants aged 8-15 will be asked to take photographs about their care experiences. All child participants will be asked to participate in a 15-20 minute interview.
