NSW Makes Vaccinations Mandatory By 30 August For Educators In LGAs Of Concern BlacklistedNews

NSW Educators who live or work in the LGAs of concern are mandated to get their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 30 August, if they want to keep working.  

Educators who live in the 12 LGAs of concern and work outside of the LGA will also be required to have a vaccination by 30 August and you will be required to carry a permit from Service NSW declaring that you are an authorised worker from 28 August.

For Educators who enter into one of the 12 LGAs of concern to work must also carry a worker permit issued by Service NSW from 28 August.

Local Government Areas Of Concern include: 

  • Bayside
  • Blacktown
  • Burwood
  • Campbelltown
  • Canterbury-Bankstown
  • Cumberland
  • Fairfield
  • Georges River
  • Liverpool
  • Parramatta
  • Strathfield
  • Penrith for the following suburbs: Caddens, Claremont Meadows, Colyton, Erskine Park, Kemps Creek, Kingswood, Mount Vernon, North St Marys, Orchard Hills, Oxley Park, St Clair and St Marys.
