An Educator received a sanction for placing children at risk, for frequent drug use and was ordered by the Queensland Education Department to take regular drug tests and "abstain from using illicit drugs".

The Queensland Government has not revealed the identity of the Educator for legal reasons or confirm if the Educator is currently working with children - since the educator is no longer employed at their original service.

Under National Law, the Queensland Government will refuse to identify the individual and still maintains that "the safety and wellbeing of all children is the highest priority for the Department Of Education" a spokesman said.
