Number Swat Fraumohrsrasselbandes

Develop children's recognition of numbers through this simple activity.

Materials Needed:

  • fly swatters
  • dice
  • number cards/number flashcards 

What to do:

  • Lay the number cards on the table
  • Give each child a fly swatter
    Roll the dice, when the dice lands on a number children have to "swat" the number.

Hints and Tips:

  • Can do this with bigger numbers using two dice
  • Whoever is the slowest swatter has to sit out, until the last child remains
  • Can be done with letters, shapes, colours etc.
