Develop children's recognition of numbers through this simple activity.
Materials Needed:
- fly swatters
- dice
- number cards/number flashcards
What to do:
- Lay the number cards on the table
- Give each child a fly swatter
Roll the dice, when the dice lands on a number children have to "swat" the number.
Hints and Tips:
- Can do this with bigger numbers using two dice
- Whoever is the slowest swatter has to sit out, until the last child remains
- Can be done with letters, shapes, colours etc.
