Salt and Flour Paint

Create paint using 2 ingredients salt and flour. 

Materials Needed: 

  • 1/2 cup flour 
  • 1/2 cup salt 
  • 1/2 cup water 
  • Liquid watercolour/food colouring. 

What to do: 

  • Blend flour and salt. 
  • Add 1/2 cup water. 
  • Mix until smooth. 
  • Divide into 3 sandwich bags/containers. 
  • Add a few drops of food colouring to each bag. 
  • Mix together. 
  • Paint ready to use.

Hints and Tips: 

  • For thinner paint add more water. 
  • Transfer paint to squeeze bottles 
  • Dries quickly. 
  • Dries a little puffy. 
  • Grainy texture because of salt.
