CHCCN511A - Workplace Compliance With Health & Safety Legislation

Post by Jodie78 » Sat Jan 28, 2012 12:36 pm

Hi,
Just wondering if I could get some opinions on the following question please.

Practice Task 1 ~ Research workplace Health and Safety Legislation that applies to your local area. Describe some of the ways in which the workplace complies with it. Are there any areas, where the workplace falls short in compliance?
Answer:
• MSDS - Material Safety Data Sheets are provided for ‘hazardous’ substances used within the Centre.
• First Aid - First Aid equipment is readily accessible if needed, and is suited to the injury needs of the staff/children/visitors at the Centre.

My Centre is located in Qld. I have tried looking up workplace health and safety on google, but haven't been able to find any answers that suit the question.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
