CHCORO003 - Reflect on and improve own professional practice

Postby CB1992 » Wed Nov 15, 2017 6:14 pm

[b]What specialist advice might you need and how you would you access it?[b]
This is the second part of the question; What current competencies do you believe you should develop and how do you plan to develop these competencies?
For this I have put problem-solving and people management, I am unsure of what specialist advice I could get for this. I put down an internet address for people management and put formal/informal training and on the job training for problem-solving. I have emailed my assessor and they are have basically said that I am on the wrong path and that I need to to look at in service information.
Does anyone know of what in specialist advice from in child care service I could use for problem-solving and people management.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thankyou

Could it be referring to seeking further support.g. Inclusion Support Services if you have a child with an additional need, or it could be a child from a diverse background that doesn't speak English.

It could also be a Speech Therapist used to help a child with speech problems etc.

Hope this helps!

Thank-you Lorina for the reply i appreciate it,
however I may have not written the question clearly, what I was looking for was specialist that could assist me in my own personal practice of problem-solving
and people management. In other words what support/specialist advice within a childcare service could I use to further my own practice and skills in problem-solving and people management. As previously stated I put formal/informal meetings and my assessor says its incorrect.

Again I appreciate the time you took to reply and hope this has made it a bit clearly and if you could assist me in anyway would again be greatly appreciated.
Thank-you CB
