Adequately Monitor Children's Learning and Development

Post by salladam » Tue May 30, 2017 6:06 pm

so i have a question where i need to provide further information on

" What would you need to do to ensure you adequately monitored children’s learning and development?"

i answered along the lines of having proper staff and child ratios so that adequate obs could be taken and extension activities can be extended from the obs.

but my teacher wants further information but im stuck

Yes, you're on the right track!

You can also

- keep a portfolio of each child's learning such as observations, work samples etc.
- keep track of each child's progression towards each of the outcomes
- gain feedback from parents about interests and events that have happened in the family

Hope this helps!
