Hiring friends

I have a question that says
You are running the recruitment process for a Diploma trained Educational Leader position and one of your close personal friends applies for the position

Outline the steps you would take to address the issue to ensure a fair and transparent process for all.

I don't really have anything in my workbooks that addresses these issues

Apart from making sure they are qualified for the position and inform the director that a friend has applied and either have the director run the interview for them, or develop an interview panel, I'm not really sure what "steps" would be involved?

Would love some links or guidance

You're on the right track! :thumbup:

Yeah, I would do the same as well... Inform the Director, let them know that a friend has applied... get the Director involved etc.
