The task I'm currently stuck on is-
there is much debate over what can and does effect each child's development. research the following topics and write at least half a page for each which explains the issue.
a- hereditary versus( nature vs nurture)
b- play and development
c- child development and risk factors
d- development and the educators role- i wrote this for the educators role:
Early childhood educators support the social, emotional, physical and educational development of infants and young children. They help them take their first steps in education, plan and implement individual programs based on observation of what children know and understand. They Prepare and supervise play and learning materials, maintain a safe, clean and appealing environment. Educators observe, assess and record children’s learning and development, Support the participation of children with additional needs in the program and Plan activities facilitating their free time and play, enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes. Also part of their role is to perform basic first aid in emergencies and help children with daily routines and promote health and safety concepts. We develop trusting and nurturing relationships with the children build on relationships with the families.
unsure of how to start answering these and how to gain enough information on it to write half a page and unsure of how to word it as its a debate over these issues.
