Hi There,
Can you please direct me in the right direction for a person/people that can develop curriculum and/or activities for children between 6 months to 2 years?
I am not educator and hence I do not have the knowledge and/or skills for this kind of work. I am looking for people that are knowledgeable in this area and can do such a work for me.
I am looking for unique program that will be used in a childcare centre and is developed specifically for me.
Ask me questions if you need more information.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

Just a few questions...

Is this for a centre?
Whats the purpose and what are you going to do with curriculum?
Are you needing this for a centre in Oz or overseas?

Can you give me more information on what you're after? Are you going to be working with the children yourself or are you going to employ educators to work with children etc. ?

Hi Laurina,
Thank you for responding.
My wife operates this centre and yes she does have knowledge and she does have experience.
It is just a thought that passed my mind perhaps there are people that know child development and can write a program 'from start to end' which is also tied back to EYLF.
Something on the lines:
Age group: 0-6 months.
Develop Motor Skills.
Week 1 Activities
Mon: .... Tues....

Colour recognition
Mon..... Tues.....

and so forth.

Makes Sense?

Thanks & Regards,
Menashay

With the EYLF it's not as simple as writing a program for the month or even for the year. You need to provide reasons for why you are providing an experience for the children, you need to reflect on your strategies, the children's overall learning and development and add experiences to the program for each of these. It's about supporting children's interests, following up on what they want to learn... The outcomes are use as goals to help guide your decision making when developing the program. The experiences on the program has to come from a source, from somewhere - you can't add it to the program because you feel like it - there has to be a reason behind everything you choose to do with the children and you have to gather evidence to support this (example - observations, parent feedback, talking to children, reflecting on work practices, child input, from the community) etc.

Hope this helps!
