Procedure to become responsible person at shift.

Post by Neer2016 » Wed Jan 11, 2017 12:21 am

Hi everyone,

I'm an OSHC educator for 3 years now. I did cert III in 2014. What do I have to do to become a responsible person at work and how would it affect my pay rate.
I'll be very thankful for any suggestions or help.
Thanks.

Hi

Go to Acecqa website, type in responsible person into the search box and go down to frequently asked questions.

Now they issue a service certificate and the approved provided or NS can designate you as a responsible person-though you can still apply for an individual one still.

You have to sign a form agreeing to the position.

It doesn't bring a change in pay unless the particular service chooses to do so, or say you took on a higher role in oshc that would increase your pay.
