Interviews With C&K Kindergartens

Post by jadey01 » Sun Sep 13, 2015 3:57 pm

Hi all,

I am finishing my bachelor in nine months and I am beyond excited. I have worked full-time as a Kindegarten Teacher while completing my bachelor. I have worked full-time in long day care for eight years.
I have two questions:
Any tips for securing an interview with c and k kindergartens?
How is the interview process? Should I prepare notes?
Thanks in advance

Have you checked out their website? They often advertise...

C&K Jobs

It's also a good idea to browse through their site to get an idea of who they are... I noticed they offer a curriculum called "Building Waterfalls"... They also offer pretty good employee benefits as well...

Another member spoke about the interview process for a C&K centre:

C&K Job Interview

This may give you an idea of what to expect...

Some question may also include:
-How you have implemented the EYLF or your how you interpret this in your classroom
-A question possible about a behaviour management issue and what would you do
-A question about a possible child at risk scenario and what you would do
-Your personal philosophy on care and education (structure vs flexible, school readiness vs child directed and interest based)
-Views on bringing environment into the centres
-Ask you about policies and what are the most important ones
