Educator Roles Within A Childcare Setting

What are the differences between Team Leader, Qualified Educator and ECT?

Team Leader - Has A Diploma Qualification and is the Room Leader, which means they have all the responsibilities of documentation, managing the room, liaising with assistants in the room on what to do for the day, planning the routine, meeting requirements for NQF and the centres policies and procedures etc.

Qualified Educator - Has either a Diploma or Cert 3 Qualification for a Lead Educator or Assistant Educator position.

ECT - Early Childhood Teacher that a bachelor degree in early childhood.

describe 5 changes that have occured in the last five years that have altered how a centre operates.

Describe 5 changes that have occurred in the last five years that have altered how a centre operates.
