A:

Additional needs: Children whose development, in one or more of the following areas, needs specialist support - mobility, expressive and/or receptive communication, social behaviour, behavioural control, fine/gross motor skills, vision, hearing, self care, cognitive skills.
Disability: Something that incapacitates, for example an intellectual, sensory, physical, social or emotional impairment.

B:

• Providing clearly defined enrolment procedures in their enrolment policy, which facilitates access for all children.
• Regularly reviewing with staff, the planning and the program. resourcing provided for children with additional needs participating in
• Being available to participate in identified child support groups.
• Providing assistance as required to child support group(s) in identifying and applying for additional resources available through the Kindergarten Inclusion Support Services for supplementary funding (funded kindergarten programs only).
• Providing assistance as required to child support group(s) in identifying and applying for additional resources/support for children and families available through the Early Childhood Intervention Services (birth to school entry).
• Working with the staff and families to identify and apply for additional resources/support for children with additional needs (where a separate child support group is not required).
• Providing appropriate physical and staffing resources within the budget constraints of the centre. In providing these resources:
• Consultation will be sought with the staff, the parents/guardians of the child, and other professionals and/or agencies working with the family to determine additional resources required to meet the functional and developmental needs of the child. (Usually the child’s support group as outlined on following pages).
• Supporting staff to gain the appropriate knowledge and skills for the implementation of this policy.

C:
The staff can access to the internet and research about it. Also may have staff meeting regally between them .The child care worker will know about the child from the enrolment form before the child start to attend the child care. The director will have meeting with the staff to let them know about the child and his situation and if they need extra help from other. The centre has one boy special need come every Friday and there is one staff for him comes every Friday to stay with him.

D:
The process they used its like observation form for the child the staff will observe him and there is one teacher special for children addition need come every 2 weeks to observe the child all the day and see if there any improvement or no in his development and skills. After the teacher come and observe the child and evaluate him she will tell the staff what they must do for next 2 weeks and after that the director will show the observation and the evaluation to the parents to see the changes.
They have one staff just for the child and teacher come every 2 weeks to evaluate him .

Part B :
A:
The child must go to the doctor to have refer to him to go to the specialist or to the physio thereby to have the treatment also the staff have A sound knowledge of typical child development;
An acknowledgement that all children develop differently;
An acknowledgement that there are various ways of knowing and understanding children other than through a developmental lens. Skills in knowing how to observe children and record their observations; An ability to interpret and make sense of the information gained;
A commitment to building meaningful relationships and positive partnerships with families; and Skills in sharing information and raising concerns with families.

B:
The child care centre made special program for the child to follow and they make the child involved with the children program to use to them and to their program also the program they mad special for him maybe change if he have any improvement. The child care centre also have for the child different activates to do and to help him to improve his skills.

C:
The staff invoved throw the observation and evaluation.
The staffs are involved in the child program and implemented it. The staffs gives their idea for the child activates and what they can provide from activities for him to improve his skills and development. The staff also includes their activities in the program. The staff also involved by doing observation and evaluation for the childso they can write lesson plan and add it in to the program.

D:
Regularly reviewing with staff, the planning and the program. resourcing provided for children with additional needs participating in . the process they used to the child progress it’s the staff observe the child and evaluate the child every week . also there is teacher come to review the child development every 2 weeks to see if there any improvement in his skills . after the staff and the teacher evaluate the child ,the evaluation forms go to the director to read it and after that the director will have meeting with the parents to let them know what happening and if there any changes.

HQ child care centre provides program and services based on children rights and social justice principles. all children ,families and staff at all abilities . of various family structures and from religious, kinship ,cultural or linguistically diverse backgrounds are treated equitably and are valued and included in all aspects at the centre and the community . Additionally ,staff work towards creating equity by challenging biases and shifting the imbalance of power throw curriculum and teaching farm works.
Rational:
All children ,families and staff have a right to be treated with fairness and equity have the same opportunities for participation and decision making and to be accepted as valued members of the community
