hey guys -
I've heard from a few different people that they are soon to be phasing out Cert 3 and everyone will have to be Diploma qualified... is this true??
if so, does anyone know when?? I can't see it happening anytime soon as they are still teaching the Cert 3.... :?

The new regulations state that half of all educators must be Diploma trained or higher by 2014.

They can be considered meeting this requirement if staff are Cert 3 trained and enrolled to study their Diploma (Actively studying).

To be able to work at a centre you will need to hold Certificate 3 or be enrolled to study/actively studying a certificate 3.

Well I am not a happy camper as my Cert3 books were CHC30712 and now new books arrived and are different CHC30113. I have handed in 2 modules and now have to redo all over again with these new ones. It's too much and thinking of giving it up, anybody else have this problem??
