OHS - Evacuation Procedure In National Regulation

Post by shveta83 » Tue Feb 07, 2012 3:12 pm

According to the regulations how often should evacuation drill/practice take place in a children’s service?
Vacation Care: Once weekly,Long Day Care: Once per month,After/Before School Care: Once per term,Occasional Care: Once per month,Family Day Care: Once per term, Carer’s Home: Once every 3 months (quarterly)

Can anyone tell me the same according to Education Care and Services National Regulations ??

Thanks in advance!!!!

Hi Shveta,

Found the following information in the National Regulation -

The approved provider of an education and care service must ensure that— (a) the emergency and evacuation procedures are rehearsed every 3 months that the service is operating, by the nominated supervisor, staff members and volunteers and children being educated and cared for by the service;

Cheers :geek:,
