Hi, I am stuck on this answer!
2.Identify which sections of the Regulations and National Quality Standard could be referred to when explaining your responsibilities to children with regards to sun safety.

The sections of the Regulations and National Quality Standard I could refer to are
Standard 2.1 Each Childs health is promoted
• Element 2.1.4 – Steps are taken to control the spread of infectious diseases and to manage injuries and illness, in accordance with recognised guidelines.
In this case to prevent sun burn and other issues in the future
Standard 2.3 Each Child is protected
• Element 2.3.2 – Every reasonable precaution is taken to protect children from harm and any hazard likely to cause injury.
I am apparently missing a key regulation, I cant figure out which. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lisa,

I found this:

114 Outdoor space—shade

The approved provider of a centre-based service must ensure that outdoor spaces provided at the education and care service premises include adequate shaded areas to protect children from overexposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun.
